You all act like God is some kind of joke.When I said I’ve left everything in God’s hands, you laugh and brush it off like it’s nothing.But if I told you how this woman is now living in utter wretchedness… how the very burden she thought she had cleverly escaped has become the instrument God used to punish not just her, but every single one of her relatives… the way it has shattered their lives so completely, so mercilessly…I promise you, your hearts would break. You would weep for her.Because what God is doing here is beyond human understanding. It’s terrifying. It’s humbling. And it shows that no one escapes His justice… no matter how far they run or how smart they think they are.

In 2019, my brother was working for a businesswoman in Idumota, Lagos. That day, she accused him of stealing her gold ring and raised an alarm. Before anything could be verified, a mob gathered and beat him to death. Later, she found the ring with her own daughter. Just like that… my brother was gone over something he didn’t do. Till today, I still don’t know how to process it. The pain sits heavy in my chest. The anger comes and goes, but it never really leaves. Sometimes I think about how he didn’t even get the chance to defend himself, how everything ended so quickly… and it breaks me all over again. If I’m being honest, a part of me died with him that day.
