If we were serious about education, with all the professors in Nigeria. We would have had indigenous names for all/most of the things you're pronouncing now.
Students end up memorizing "botanical names, latin names, french n German including English not knowing the simple names our fore-fathers identify these things with.
Calling it "Tinea versicolor" or "Dematitis" doesn't make you any Smarter either. You just know the European pronunciation.
And the person calling it Eczema isn't any less smart, (I'm sure they know the local name for it)
They just can't continue memorizing complex European names🤷♂️
It is a form of protest for y'all to stop forcing brainwashing on Nigerians in the form of "Education"

Mr Alex made this post on 8th of July that Chimdiebube Onwubiko, Don Anele Munachimso Marvelous, and Egejurum Onyedikachi Ethan won gold at the STEM Olympiad in Rome,
Since STEM Olympiad is an international competition/event, I felt other international news outlets would cover the event and infact release the results/reports before Alex Onyia does or alongside Alex Onyia, I felt something was off if he’s the one announcing the results and not the organizers of the show.
So I checked STEM Olympiad website which is stemolympiad.org, at the time I checked, there was no result/report of the event, I thought, how come Alex Onyia announced results when the organizers haven’t announced results, so I took a step further and emailed them to ask if the result of the competition is ready or has been published somewhere.

My biggest annoyance with General Sani Abacha is that he wasn't ruthless enough.
