I have a fantasy of a Belgian adult showing a small child a picture of a pipe, he says "C'est quoi, ça?" and the child says, "C'est une pipe!" to which the adult says "Bravo!" and then the Belgian adult morphs into Rene who answers gleefully, "Mais non, ceci n'est pas une pipe, c'est l'image d'une pipe!" forcing a slightly premature lesson about symbols, language and communication upon the puzzled child.
