@james_moli56524 @LangmanVince Apparently they ALL aren’t. Some Catholics don’t like their Pope taking direction from David Axelrod and Obama.

David Axelrod met with the Pope last week, a few days later the Pope attacked President Trump on Iran. Then last night three liberal Cardinals attacked president Trump on 60 minutes This was all coordinated by Barrack Obama to break Trump's catholic base before the midterms
60 Minutes@60Minutes

In a rare joint interview, three of America’s most influential cardinals, who actively serve archdioceses, share what they’re hearing in their pews.

@Voidship1 @LangmanVince One day, many years from now, an American will make the effort to learn what the therms communism, socialism and Marxism mean. That might sound fanciful, but I firmly believe it is possible.

@LangmanVince I'm catholic but I'm again disappointed by the stances taken by the Pope and the Vatican. How the church got into marxist politics I don't know, but it's an example of weakness before people who would have Christians dead.

@JohnBryanKE Wasn’t this supposed to be about fuel prices? Why is the focus on the carbon tax? Why not VAT or excise duty which have a far larger impact on the price? I think I know why but I’ll let you say it. Curious how the go to for raising funds is always focussed on immigration.

The Governments pitiful excuse for not abolishing the carbon tax is that the state cannot afford to do so. That's despite the fact that the state has spent away its €1.1 billion year carbon tax take on €1.2 billion for IPAS and €800 million on foreign aid. The maths is simple: abolish carbon tax + cut IPAS and foreign aid = save Irish taxpayers.

🚨 WOW! JD Vance just said LOUD AND CLEAR that we are NO LONGER pretending that "America First" includes ANY other country "[A Ukrainian-American] was sticking his finger in my face saying 'you need to support my country!'" "I said, 'sir, with all due respect, if you're an American, your country is the United States of America—NOT a place that you immigrated from.'" "Whether your family's been here for 300 years or one second, to be an American means to look out for Americans FIRST — and that's the perspective we have to take to our immigration policy."

I think the present government has destroyed the relationship between the public and the Garda Síochána for good, Having a late lunch in a resturant and four members of the guards walked in three males and a woman. Suddenly the place went quiet, they were seated, Other customers and staff looking at them. Their order was taken and shortly after the owner or manager went and asked them very politely to leave the premises as they were not welcome, that their presence was upsetting other customers and would they inform their colleagues they are not welcome either, As they walked out the door tail between their legs people clapped and cheered it was surreal.

London, to judge by a network of anonymous social media accounts and blowhard Maga podcasters, is now a dystopian hellhole where there are no-go areas for non-Islamists, the murder rate per capita is higher than Lagos, you need to be Snake Plissken to use the Tube between Mornington Crescent and Chalk Farm, and the police will arrest you for saying “God Save The King”. Research published by City Hall presents evidence that this isn’t just a random meme: it’s a co-ordinated propaganda effort. With the help of analytical tools used by the National Cyber Security Centre, researchers have established that posts about London have risen by seven per cent in two years, and “London in decline” narratives have gone up by 150-200 per cent. These are coming, the researchers discover, not from the concerned citizens of Clapham but from from Sri Lankan-based troll-farms, Vietnamese Facebook networks, and Nigerian bot webs mimicking UK media. ✍️ Sam Leith Article | spectator.com/article/london…

@Bitcoin_Teddy @reginalddhunter Nothing said here, as exaggerated as it it, changes the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine and Zelenskyy has led the defence of his nation. Despite many efforts to rewrite the narrative, we all remember the buildup to and start of the war, and we know it is not complicated.

@Firmordana @EwanMacKenna I don’t disagree about price control for long term stability. That would involve increasing taxes when prices lower to provide a fund that can be used to subsidise fuel when they rise. That’s not going to come in overnight though.

Don't the farmers who are protesting use green diesel legally, which is taxed far lower already and has the carbon tax at a far reduced rate on it? Again not saying if protests right or wrong, just wondering the facts and what their issue is?

@Firmordana @EwanMacKenna Are you suggesting that the government put some sort of secret tax on diesel in the past few weeks? You realise how stupid that sounds? And you realise that the $97/bar crude oil doesn’t just appear as diesel at the pump the next day?

@EwanMacKenna Why? In 2018 when the barrel of oil went to 145 road diesel was 1.15. The barrel of oil is now 97 usd. Why is diesel 2 euro plus?

To our gardai You all have a serious choice to make Follow the orders of these traitors or stand with your people Are you going to keep standing against your own people and families for the traitors in power who have left our country in ruins Are you going to continue to try and trample our flag and people into the ground I have a funny feeling ye won’t walk over our farmers and truckers as easy as the innocent Irish people ye brutally attacked to force men on their communities Disgracefully beating and pepper spraying even our elderly and children And that flag you keep standing on I have buried family and friends under our flag that ye disrespect Our families of our loved ones who are killed are handed our flag perfectly folded as a mark of respect gratitude and a final salute You may as well walk all over their graves as far as I’m concerned when you walk on our flag that we veterans wore with pride both at home and abroad An insult to our ancestors who would have tried you and our government for treason if they were alive today A day will come when the excuse that ye were following orders will not be acceptable for the treason ye are committing against your own people and country And as I told the last gardai who tried to arrest me for simply asking why ye were trampling our people and flag into the ground what ye have helped to force on us will come to all of your doors someday too ♟️🇮🇪🫡
