This is the first time I've heard them and I felt an almost visceral cringe. It's the way the whole sound and image is modelled on a 1970s themed tumblr blog, yes the Robert Plant vocals, but also the sincerity in which they serve as the youthful vessels for the reanimated corpse of a particular sound from a particular time. Contrast with how The Darkness, clearly channelling late 70s glam, nevertheless were in-on-the-joke and so pulled it off a lot better.
