@ocodista Muitas vezes o problema acontece ao contrário: a feature já está dada como rolled-out, já existem N iterações em cima, e um timeout global ou esporádico resulta em feature antiga ou desatualizada. Este eu vejo a acontecer em muitos serviços, a qql dia, por falta de manutenção.

Com esse outage da AWS, é sempre bom lembrar que o comportamento padrão é sempre o de bloquear uma feature caso um serviço não funcione. Por exemplo, se você usa feature flag no DynamoDB/AWS Parameter Store, é melhor colocar default = false. Senão, em casos como hoje vai ter gente acessando o que não deve 😅

@ofelgueiras2 Bom dia Óscar, como sugestão para o site: deixar a data com a última atualização dos tarifários, para percebermos se o site continua atualizado. A ideia que tenho é que a ultima atualização foi há 3 meses, mas sem certeza. Obrigado!

@mironcatalin @levelsio You can find very average coffee for 10-12€/kg here (whole beans from brands like Eduscho, Tchibo, Dallmayr, or those sold at LIDL and ALDI), but it doesn’t taste very good. Our favorite is from a small store in Frankfurt and costs 27€/kg.

Nespresso is trash coffee It's not fresh, but stale and lacks any flavor depth and body Also super expensive per cup: One Nespresso pod is $0.80, that's $150 per kg! Average coffee goes for $10 per kg Premium coffee goes for $25-$50 per kg So Nespreso tastes worse and is 15x more expensive than avg coffee, 3-6x more expensive than premium coffee Giant Nestlé marketing schpiel that makes zero sense if you care about coffee Also for my European eco lovers, those throwaway pods are terrible for the environment and end up in landfills

@grok, sabendo que o preço médio OMIE em maio foi de 25,84€/MWh em Portugal e que a atual cotação do futuro de julho do OMIP é de 73€/MWh, quão provável é que será que um cliente com tarifário indexado na EDP possa não estar sujeito a uma subida de preço na eletricidade?

The goal was to build an alternative iOS App Store after I spent many nights fighting the App Store as head of mobile @MagicEden. I shipped a French encryption document generator as a lead up to the bigger goal of competing with Apple. Since Apple lost the lawsuit and there are alternatives to the 30% tax, I decided to pursue other ideas (had a a soft VC commitment if I had a lead) as I couldn't have built something better than simply launching on the App Store + setting up web payments. Thanks for everyone who tried Nova, it was awesome to see that a pain in my life lead to a product people paid for. I'm full time building the future of voice AI with @mitissaAI, locking in on the moonshot.
