@DocAtCDI My wife's birthday! Her brother and his wife brought over lunch, dessert and champagne here to the house to celebrate and after that went to my sister's house to celebrate my twin nieces b-days (also May 3!) So, a good day.

@LFiers @horrormuseum If you listen to this, his Gizmo reference (Gremlins 1984) in this clip is not to "old Yoda" from "Empire" but to "Baby Yoda" from "The Mandalorian" (2019). So, it does make sense to me.

@Noirchick1 I so love this film! It follows Hammett's book pretty closely, even utilizing much of the book's dialogue. Hammett's prose was sparse, tight, spare but grippingly moved the plot along and the film does the same. Bogart was the perfect Spade (more so than he was Philip Marlowe.)

@ElisePacifica @JucikaDaily You have to follow Jucika to understand how the comic strips work. It’s 3 panels, no dialogue. The last panel is the punchline. In this one, he was the one that was injured, but she apparently fainted so now he’s rescuing HER. That’s the gag.

@MingNa "The Cavalry" remains my favorite character from the series. What I enjoy about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is how each season sort of pivoted to a different story line from the previous season, yet May was the constant. Always a loveable bad a$$! Happy May Day, everyone!
