@JennyBryan @rstudio I personally feel weird about this whole thing, but redundancies just add fuel to that ick… The marketing team working on rebranding probably should have used a larger sample of language nerds 🤪 if they did one 🤔 I’m sensing a trend of end users not happy or just like why 🤷‍♀️

Greetings, language nerds and pedants. Re: @rstudio's future name change to Posit (as in @rstudio the company, not the IDE) Does "posit hypotheses" have a redundant vibe to you? Similar to "add additions" or "collaborate together". Or is it just me?

It is with much sorrow we acknowledge the passing of Professor Bill Musk. A much respected clinician, researcher, mentor, leader, good friend and champion of @Busselton since volunteering at first survey in 1966 as a young med student. A true gentleman, deeply missed by us all.

So I’m having a tiny bit of trouble with really large VCF files (HRC imputed)… something to do with the header. I’ve tried several programs now but keep hitting a point. Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙏🙏 #RStats @RLadiesPerth @RLadiesSydney #Genomics #VCF

The best one was Bcftools but for some reason the header is throwing up an error… I’ve tried updating it as suggested online too and turns out corrupt… Oh I’m subsetting samples 😅 forgot that 🤦‍♀️
