I mean... you have someone with 8 cores of GG1, one core of GG2 with <5% pattern 4, and you're gonna call that UFIR? Get a PET-CT, tell them they need immediate treatment. No way.

Don't take my word for it. Listen to Dr. Ariana Smith organically mention how @WellPrept makes clinic conversations better. Curious? My DMs are open.

“I love it. I love WellPrept. I love Dave Canes and WellPrept.” —@AmyPearlman1 “He’s done a great job. Patients receive it, they love it. They come in educated, and now you take that conversation to the next level.” —Dr. Ariana L. Smith, MD, Professor of Urology, Perelman School of Medicine, @PennMedicine

@CanesDavid Agree 💯. And it IS hormone therapy, after all. Why would someone want to have a low DHT... IMO, if they get PCa, nerve sparing is harder.

Hot take: nobody should ever be on finasteride for BPH Who wants to be on a medication where it may or may not work, and we won't know for six months? It has lousy side effects. And given how well alpha blockers typically work, if you're delving into combo therapy, you may as well actually solve the problem surgically. Gland size reduction is modest, if at all Prove me wrong

Making a doctor put in the reason for a telephone note as a hard stop is cruel. The reason is in the note. We'll just put whatever in there- to get past the hard stop. See? I'm complaining about EPIC @DrDiGiorgio

Today, Dr. Ariana Smith successfully performed the first surgery in Philadelphia implanting a new nerve-stimulating device to treat individuals with urge urinary incontinence, which is caused by a communication breakdown between the nerves connecting brain and bladder.

There seems to be this pervasive belief out there in the world that the majority of what doctors do is diagnose. I think the majority of what we do is treat, guide, care, and shepherd people through their illnesses and disease processes. It’s mostly TV doctors caught up in some diagnostic conundrum. That’s not the real world. Maybe that’s just Urology? What do you think?
Mike Solana@micsolana

gonna be crazy when you have to pay a doctor $500 so they, a Credentialed Human, can ask a special version of GPT what’s wrong with you
