In my view, the problem is not just mediocrity facilitated by easy money, but a more structural issue of being disconnected with the real world of material production. This is the realignment needed, and not to large-scale extractive production, they don't need Web3, and if they need it, it's not really consequential, just more of the same. But towards the needed regenerative production models. They are there, they work, grow fast, but are still hugely undercapitalized. But it can't come from within Web3, but has to come from the productive actors, and the willingness of Web3 to connect and serve them.
