So proud of the @LARGE_PD “family” across LATAM! This is a huge step! And very thankful to each of those 10K participants for their time and effort! Together we are improving our understanding of Parkinson’s disease in the region! Gracias, Obrigado, thank you!

This week our consortium hit a major milestone: 10,000 participants enrolled (>5,000 living with Parkinson’s). This achievement reflects the dedication of our collaborators, the generosity of participants, and the support of GP2 and @ParkinsonDotOrg #ParkinsonsAwarenessMonth

Supportive features are more common in PD (levodopa resp), while exclusions/red flags cluster in atypical parkinsonism. But some “red flags” still show up in PD. Criteria may need refinement and better biomarkers. nature.com/articles/s4153… @WashUNeurology @movedisorder @Nature

Very happy to finally be face to face with my mentor from the #leap program of @movedisorder after many years, numerous zoom meetings, and lots of neurology and life lessons. A great meeting with a great mentor, and a great friend. #mdspascongress
