I welcome Iran’s announcements that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open for all commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire.
This a step in the right direction.
The @UN position remains clear: we need the full restoration of international navigational rights & freedoms in the Strait of Hormuz, respected by everyone.
I also hope that, together with the ceasefire, this measure will contribute to creating confidence between the parties and strengthen the ongoing dialogue facilitated by Pakistan.

Pakistan is my first home and the UAE is my second home, and I respect both and love both.
Both countries are very close to my heart. Pakistan gave me my identity and my roots are here, while the UAE gave me opportunities, a path to grow, and a feeling of having a second home.
The culture, people, and memories of both places are very special to me, and the strong and friendly relations between both countries make me even happier.

Emiratis are upset with Pakistan because they were not invited to the Islamabad talks. But let me say this: in matters of major players, smaller parties are not always included. And besides, the UAE is often seen more as a commercial hub - so what role does a “shopping mall” have in diplomacy? Oof 😂 Pakistan First.!
