@PuckinPodcast@MikeBartner He's absolutely not in a better situation. Maybe if the avs had 2 Mackinnons, unless you think rantanen/necas are on draisaitls level. Idk why oilers fans can't understand that playing with mcdrai makes you look better
Gotta see if this is a vocal minority of Oilers fans or if I'm in the minority:
Where do you have Evan Bouchard in your NHL Players rankings (F & D only, no G)
@ShamsCharania Torronto raptors making all these pointless moves just to not finish top 7 seed in the east 😭😭 the only teams who’ve made the best moves so far this off season goes in this order
1. Lakers/76ers
2. Heat
3. Timberwolves
4. Spurs
Free agent forward Kyle Anderson has agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Toronto Raptors, sources tell ESPN. Anderson enters his 13th NBA season providing depth to the Raptors roster, and reunites with former San Antonio teammate Kawhi Leonard.
Corrado on Sportscentre: “As of today, right now the Edmonton Oilers are a worse team then when they had Darnell Nurse in the lineup.. Yea, you got Darnell Nurse off the books, doesn’t mean you are a better team than you were yesterday”
Jaylen Brown is a great NBA player. I think he's probably one of the 25-35 best players in the NBA. That's nothing to sneeze at.
But Boston's point differential has been worse with him on the floor in each of the last four and six of the last eight seasons. You can explain one or two away (as Boston fans so passionately have), but that's a long track record.
His assist-to-turnover ratio is bad. He's a high-volume shooter with a below-average true shooting percentage.
He more than makes up for his flaws in other ways. Again, he's great. But pretending like he was going to be worth a superstar trade package, especially when leverage was killed by what seemed like a public campaign to be traded, was just setting fans up to be angry.
