I just hit my first 1000 followers!
This might not mean much to a lot of people, but it's a huge milestone for me.
Imagine speaking at a free event and a thousand people show up.
Some might like what you say, some uninterested/bored, and even others wishing they could punch you in the face for something you said, but the truth is they all still chose to be there (follow)
So, I humbly want to use this as a means to appreciate everyone who has chosen to read/listen to me while I navigate this space.
My goal for joining crypto was always simple.
To make money.
I know you were thinking I'd say passion or some BS about tech. lol
Over time though, I learnt that making money is a reflection of your value.
The magnitude and scale of the value you provide = the amount of money you make.
@icobeast in his latest article goes further with this to point out that the most value you can provide in crypto is helping others make money.
This value first mindset is something that I now always remember and try to implement-- be it through my replies to people or my own content.
The bad thing for me with this mindset is I need to work harder than most.
The good thing for you is you get to reap the benefits of my hard work as well.
So, cheers to me grinding out for both of us.
To my fellow small and smaller accounts,
There's really no shortcut to these things. I've been in the space for 4 years and while I wasn't really posting, I was learning and gaining a lot of experience.
From trading to marketing to fundraising to web3 gaming. I've done a lot.
Good things just take a lot of time and good consistency.
I've gained more followers in the last 69 days than the previous 9 months combined.
The picture below doesn't even tell a good enough story. I've suffered from and still suffering from the regular impostor syndrome, self-doubt, seeking validation and whatever comes with the need to be seen.
But in all that I just choose to dine with my feelings and still show up.
Special shoutout to @brave_raf and @emilios_eth too. Learnt a lot from these folks.
Bottomline, don't stop showing up, keep learning and always remember the end goal is to make mon... sorry provide value.
Let's do this again at 10k.
