At a time when we are working smart to increase inbound visitor numbers, it’s truly gratifying for Kenya to welcome two cruise ships to Mombasa—MV Europa and MV World Odyssey—with upwards of 1,000 tourists. It’s even more heartwarming that yet another cruise ship is expected to dock in Mombasa with 2,000 visitors onboard this coming week. Kudos Kenya Ports Authority for making Mombasa a preferred port of call for cruise ship adventure! @magicalkenya

Glad to have participated in a panel discussion with my colleagues from various countries during the International Tourism Investment Summit. I highlighted Kenya’s unique tourism offerings. Promoting Magical Kenya in UK, which is a key source market is part of our plan.

My former university classmates and I today explored local tourism in Kajiado County. I encourage all Kenyans to travel and discover great and scenic sights within our Country. Let us visit attractions, experiences, and hidden gems in Kenya in order to support local economies.

An amazing marvel of nature… Rock hyraxes, also called rock dassies or rock rabbits, are small, stub-tailed, rabbit-like animals native to Africa. Though rock hyraxes resemble rodents, their closest living relatives are actually elephants and manatees.” In Kiswahili they’re known as Pelele or Wibari. Know your wildlife!
