Let us all hope the US Army has developed techniques, tactics and procedures (TTP) that make these mobile launchers less vulnerable from Chinese drones than IRGC missile launchers have proven to be from US & Israeli drones.

@LanaBCandado From experience at near transonic speeds, you'll see a near 60-100F increase over ambient (on average) at that altitude. It's about contrast here, not really how well it can reduce its overall signature. That matters a lot more for longer range detection, especially in LWIR.

@LanaBCandado @HankRearden_37 @WeTheBrandon I had multiple friends who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Their favorite CAS platforms were F-15s and B-1s: B-1s for loiter time and F-15s for response time. The A-10 took too long lol.
