#OnThisDay in 1911, #Suffragettes Princess Sophia Duleep Singh and her friend Kitty Marshall pounced on the Prime Minister, Herbert Asquith, as he left 10 Downing Street; they stood in front of his taxi and unfurled a banner saying ‘Give Women the Vote’.

At 11.30pm @StPeterMancroft we give thanks for the long life of our dear friend Barbara Miller MBE, at her funeral here in church, in the heart of the City of Norwich, in which she loved so much and served as Church Warden.
Rest in peace dear friend.

A throwback to a much sunnier, warmer day on this lovely tour of Norwich High School for Girls, which took place this September as part of #HODs. This beautiful building which is a fine example of a suburban Regency Villa is set within 14 acres of grounds at the school. ☀️
