Ian Henderson led the colonial government operation that led to the capture Dedan Kimathi . He wrote a book about it. Intelligence gathered from the forest revealed that Kimathi regularly prayed, facing Mount Kenya beneath wild fig trees. By mapping these specific spiritual and personal habits, the trackers drastically narrowed their search zone, setting targeted ambushes at the exact landmarks Kimathi was bound to visit. Finally, the operation was a gruelling war of attrition. Even with the broader Mau Mau movement heavily weakened by 1956, it still took ten agonizing months of constant tracking to corner him. Kimathi’s extreme caution and flawless bushcraft meant there were no shortcuts, making the hunt a slow, exhausting grind through the canopy.

EBOLA QUARANTINE CENTRES ARE MERELY FOR CONTAINMENT MEASURES,NOT VEHICLES TO IMPORT EBOLA INTO THE COUNTRY. The debate around quarantine and infectious disease facilities should be guided by facts, not fear. Kenya is one of Africa's biggest transport and business hubs. Every day, thousands of travelers enter the country through airports, land borders, and seaports from different parts of the world, including regions that have previously experienced outbreaks of Ebola and other infectious diseases. Given this reality, the question is not whether Kenya should prepare for such diseases, but whether it should be prepared when they eventually arrive. History has shown that dangerous diseases do not respect borders. COVID-19 reached almost every country on earth despite travel restrictions and advanced healthcare systems. Enhancing national security-Disease outbreaks can cripple economies, overwhelm hospitals, and disrupt daily life. Preparedness is as much a security issue as it is a health issue. Positioning Kenya as a regional health leader – Strong infectious disease capacity boosts Kenya's standing as a medical and scientific hub in Africa, attracting research partnerships, investments, and expertise. Creating long-term benefits-Even when not handling high-risk diseases, many of the technologies, laboratories, and trained personnel can support routine healthcare services and disease surveillance. The reality is simple: building a fire station does not mean you want a fire. Building a quarantine facility does not mean you want an Ebola outbreak. It means you understand that if a dangerous disease ever reaches Kenya, you would rather have the capacity to contain it than be caught unprepared. Public health preparedness is not about inviting disease into the country. It is about ensuring that when a threat emerges-as experience shows it eventually can-Kenyans are protected through planning, infrastructure, and rapid response.

Buzeki: I Bought My Former Boss’s Factory After Working For 8 Years Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop, otherwise known as Buzeki is the chairman of Buzeki Group of Companies mainly operating in dairy and logistics. He became known to many Kenyans during the electioneering period in 2017 when he declared his candidature in the hotly-contested Uasin Gishu gubernatorial race. Buzeki started his career as the Regional Dairy Sales Manager for Kilifi plantations, and later pioneered the introduction of Tuzo milk. He later diversified into the transport and logistics business under Buzeki Enterprises Limited and managed to win contracts with companies such as Bamburi Cement, UN-WFP and East Africa Port Land Cement among other companies. While Buzeki is better known as a billionaire, the most interesting bit of it is that he bought his former boss’s factory eight years after branching out and working by himself. Here is the story as told by WoK. In an interview with Success Afrika, Buzeki described himself as a businessman, farmer, politician, church elder and a philanthropist. However, before acquiring the numerous titles, the billionaire was struggling to make ends meets years back. He mentioned that his first job was hawking milk on behalf of a milk factory in Kilifi, and earned Ksh 80 per day. Buzeki was then promoted to be offloading milk from the van into the factory and later employed as a salesman. “Then, I didn’t know I had a talent in selling because by the time I was given an opportunity to be a salesman, I was not formally trained. It was a skill that I had,” he said. He worked as a salesman for a while before he earned himself a promotion to a sales manager at the factory. After his stint as a sales manager, Buzeki branched out to try entrepreneurship. “After the sales manager’s job, I decided to give a shot at business and I decided to do a business that I already had some formal background with,” he explained. Buzeki started a distribution company based in Mombasa and he would distribute milk from one shop to another. For eight years, he distributed among other brands, Tuzo milk, making him one of the biggest milk distributors in the coastal region. “After distributing milk for eight years, I went back and actually bought the factory of my former boss, Kilifi Plantations, and I ended up buying another factory in Molo and Limuru,” Buzeki said. In 2004, Buzeki said he diversified to logistics, however, maintaining that his forte has always been dairy despite the success of his logistics company. “In as much as people think that Buzeki is more of a logistician because trucks carry my name and move from point to point, my bread and butter is dairy." “That’s why I love dairy farming, agriculture and the story about me having a liking for milk is also something that is a bit cultural,” he stated. Elsewhere, the businessman runs Buzeki Foundation which has rolled out several programs including empowerment initiatives for farmers. In 2020, the foundation also rolled out a program dubbed, Mlo Mashinani, an all-inclusive financial empowerment program targeting farmers. Through this program, selected farmers are grouped into clusters, provided with seeds, expert and logistical advice and sales support. Farmers are also taught various agricultural techniques which they would then pass on to other farmers in the program. “We seek to provide seeds of Indigenous crops like pumpkins, arrow roots, sweet potatoes among others and offer field extension service to ensure proper seed utilisation and offer market support for surplus produce,” Buzeki said.

THE EBOLA AGENDA: In 2014, in Guinea, there was a mineral scandal. This scandal was known as the "Simandou mining rights corruption scandal," described as one of the largest resource heists in history. Simandou is a 110-km mountain range in southern Guinea bordering Liberia, and it is Africa's biggest mining project. The Simandou scandal reached its climax in April 2014, when the Guinean government revoked the multi-billion-dollar mining licenses held by Beny Steinmetz Group Resources (BSGR) and its partner, Vale, after an investigation found they had been acquired through corruption. Around this time in Liberia, in the diamond-rich Fuamah District of Bong County, an 18-carat diamond was stolen and sold on the black market for a paltry USD 20,000, far below its true international market value. This prompted the Government of Liberia to crack down on these thieves. The suspects were taken into police custody. The government stepped in to settle territorial and security disputes in the area. However, around this period, something strange came up, a new disease whose name was not known at the time. An outbreak of haemorrhagic disease was noted in which symptoms manifested by anal and nasal bleeding. This was later concluded as Ebola, which peaked in September of that year. The diamond heist and the Simandou scandal disappeared amidst this "outbreak." The revocation of BSGR license and the theft of diamond carats led to the manufacture of man-made epidemics by arsenic poisoning of the people (africanarguments.org/2023/01/the-un…) This is exactly how Afrikan resources are looted. The looters fund civil wars or manufacture epidemics, they create terror, fear and intimidation, then, in that confusion, loot our resources while pretending to care for our health.
