Because that is not true. They have similar storage requirements to canada, so that is clearly not the problem.

My range consists of a couple acres outside Ottawa. There’s no fence, no guards, no secure lockups, hell- there isn’t even hydro.
We have 1800 members. We own probably 10 guns each on average (likely way more) so, you’re suggesting we toss 18,000+ guns in a shed in the woods on the outskirts of town?
Or, alternatively we keep them locked up in my alarmed and heavily camera’d house where nobody’s the wiser.

the three real options in self defense are

FYI: collapsible batons are much cheaper than guns, don’t need licensure and are a lot less of an escalation simply to draw but are scary enough to deter and extend your reach by >1’ if not. I got my Smith & Wesson for $50. Break their legs and run! (Check legality in your area.)

@Kaiser_Lizard Ds2 haters not understanding that you get levels way more often than the other games. You can get to 20 adp by the first area and that’s plenty, damage stat scaling is also much less important so you have more levels to allocate elsewhere
