There are 9 conference games a year. 9 x 2 =18 Utah has only played 18 conference games. Utah is 9-9 in the conference.

No the criteria for BYU’s national title is because both the AP and coaches voted them the unanimous national champion. That’s why we have a trophy and Utah doesn’t. Remind me, when you won one of those P5 championships in 2021, did Utah beat BYU that year? The day BYU got the invite to be in a conference again, Utah’s advantage was gone and haven’t beaten BYU since.
