Your CI/CD was built for humans writing code 8 hours a day. AI agents write code 24/7. Run tests 10 at a time. Deploy every 6 minutes. The Jenkins box can't handle that. Neither can your current pipeline. The bottleneck isn't the model anymore. It's your infrastructure.

The bill does not require a passport (or any specific form of ID) to vote in the sense of casting a ballot on election day. There is a HUGE difference between having a valid photo ID (like a drivers license or military ID) and a passport. I wonder how much the poll results change if you phrase the question: "Do you favor having to present a passport instead of a drivers' license or your present ID in order to cast your vote?" Most people have a drivers license, military ID, college ID, etc. But those will not be acceptable under the GOP's proposed voter suppression bill. AND YOU KNOW THAT. Why won't you admit it?

Well there is another update that brings Claude code closer to the openclaw concept. I would expect every AI company to be taking this path for agentic assistants. Channels, loops, memory…. closing the gap.

@karpathy The infra angle is huge. We've built SLAs around service uptime. Nobody has SLAs for AI reliability. OAuth token rotation just took down an entire research operation.

My autoresearch labs got wiped out in the oauth outage. Have to think through failovers. Intelligence brownouts will be interesting - the planet losing IQ points when frontier AI stutters.

@karpathy The ops layer is where this gets interesting. The file-to-agent shift is already happening in deployment pipelines. Most people haven't figured out what the 'agent IDE' looks like for infrastructure yet.

Expectation: the age of the IDE is over Reality: we’re going to need a bigger IDE (imo). It just looks very different because humans now move upwards and program at a higher level - the basic unit of interest is not one file but one agent. It’s still programming.

@karpathy's take on the IDE problem is real. Pipelines have the same one. Your CI/CD still tests files. It doesn't know what an agent is. It'll scan the syntax of a file orchestrating 40 tools, find zero issues, and call it green. Nobody in this thread's talking about that gap.

I have a few friends who have gotten 3-4 week bans right before Midnight came out and they weren’t able to appeal. @BlizzardCS is using AI in reporting and not allowing it to be disputed. They are loosing money due to this crap. Two of my friends cancelled their sibscriptions and got a refund for thier midnight pre-order.
