I write, I draw, I market, I voiceover. I did that satirical comedy horror Top Trumps homage Modern Horrors, you know. And in 2024 - the return of FIT TO BURST!

Out and about. Or not. Katılım Ocak 2009

Why do people say that by their nature sketch shows are always a bit hit and miss? I’ve made hundreds of sketches on my phone and never missed once. Stop making excuses.

After the Blur reunion, Damon Albarn again catches my middle aged mood precisely on the new Gorrilaz record. Ghostly ranting of Mark E Smith on Delirium majestic. Sparks track an absolute, certified and spectacular banger.

Denmark changes Greenland’s name to Epstein Island so Trump will stop talking about it.

Shocking hypocrisy from Vance - lecturing Europe on democracy when he serves as vice president to a man who attempted a coup in the US

What's hitting me really hard as a UK citizen, is that all my life, I felt like I was living in "the best place". Not the only "top place" - the USA, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Germany, these were all in the club too --- but it felt like there was no meaningful "upgrade" I could make. I felt content. But now, for the first time, a gap has opened up and it's become apparent that the UK is a level below some of those countries. There are now legitimately better options, that will deliver better health, wealth, and opportunity. And this? It gives you a profound sense of unease. A sense that you should be moving, for the good of your family. A feeling of restlessness. This must be how most people in the world in tier 2/3/4 countries must have always felt. This must be the unease that stirs the immigrant spirit. The yearning for a better life over the seas. It's a totally novel feeling.

@FutureJurvetson What the hell are you talking about? I’m glad I’m raising my children in Britain rather than a country that has accepted the routine murder of its young people in their schools and universities.

I've been asked what my favourite commentary is on the budget and it's unquestionably this exchange.
