@Heff_KL Am fairly reliably told there was a crisis board meeting this morning at the club and an announcement is being made tomorrow morning. What they will be, who knows? Could still be a show of faith….
Port fans, are any of us actually on board with the Josh Carr succession plan? His only credentials are a SANFL flag, and unsuccessful stints at Freo and Port as assistants. With all the assistants out there in successful programs, if we just hand the reigns over to Carr without following a rigorous recruitment process, I think that'll be about time to hand in my membership.
The past week has confirmed my feeling this is the best addition to the fixture in a generation – since Anzac Day became Essendon and Collingwood, writes @GerardWhateley

@3AWisfootball When gather round goes to Perth or Sydney or Brisbane it will be the same for those teams, at the moment it is only unfair for those other interstate clubs, victorian clubs do not have a right to complain
@DidakDT You could easily make a case for butters getting an extra two in there in a couple of the games in his mid season form run where the umpires stiffed him a little - make it a four way tie
Take away Neale's ridiculous 3 votes vs GWS and give Daicos the vote he deserved vs GWS and you have a Bont/Daicos tie on 29 which feels right. #Brownlow
@FootyonNine Oh come off it, what is the point of this article. His omission was due to his poor form for the last three months, nothing to do with his personal life. This makes port look shit
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has defended his side’s decision to use the film Oppenheimer as motivation heading into the final campaign.
The decision has sparked outrage on social media, with some users saying it’s in poor taste as the film depicts the development of the devastating atomic bomb that killed upwards of 200,000 people in Japan. #9News
The waves of empathy are really confusing.
The tingling of hilarity is seriously reassuring.
The temptation to mock is overwhelming but the reluctance to expose yourself is ever present.
I'll just watch on.
@Dan_Iel78@JayPea_14@AdamJFitzgerald@AdelaideUnited We are incredibly lucky to have adelaide united as a local team compared to some other aleague clubs, perfect stadium, great young exciting squad, great fans, it really is a great experience
