@vendefoulwolf You can change it in an active installation? If so that's pretty cool.

@CodeRed_dev This is a roguelike. Picking cards to randomise a playthrough does not make a game a roguelike.

@LundukeJournal Just write everything in C, and if that's not enough go C++, and if that's not enough add Lua. Anything else is shameful.

Blood of Dawnwalker specs are insane for this look. There should be no reason for specs this high for a look like this.

The gaming-focused Bazzite Linux distribution has banned a key, prolific developer from the project for "repeated violations of our Code of Conduct". The developer in question, Antheas Kapenekakis, was the primary developer of one of the most widely praised features of Bazzite, known as "Handheld Daemon", which provides "hardware enablement for Windows [gaming] handhelds, so that they run correctly in Linux". github.com/hhd-dev/hhd No specific "Code of Conduct violation" was cited, but the banning came after a coordinated (and often highly vulgar) campaign accusing Antheas of using "transphobic slurs". Members of the Bazzite project, who campaigned to have Antheas banned, referred to him as a "weirdo f**k" who must be "punished". The Bazzite lead (and full time Microsoft employee), Kyle Gospo, added, "We are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment."

Linux gaming just leveled up. Bazzite 44 is here… and it’s a BIG upgrade: • KDE Plasma 6.6 + GNOME 50 (the desktop look and feel got updated) • New Linux kernel (core system → better speed & hardware support) • Mesa 26 (graphics engine → better FPS in games) • Smaller install size (~1GB less) Under the hood: • Signed ISOs + security scanning (safer, verified downloads) • Build attestation + SBOMs (full transparency of what’s inside) • Better hardware support (works better with GPUs, capture cards, ASUS devices) What you’ll actually notice: • Faster performance • Smoother gaming • More stable updates Also: • Sunshine removed (now optional) • New Konsole terminal (better command tool with container support) This is like Windows + SteamOS, but faster, lighter, and built for gaming. They’re rolling it out slowly to avoid bugs. Would you switch to this for gaming?

There was a time when game menus simply oozed epicness. They were like an appetizer for the glory to come. Command & Conquer: Generals (2003) Remember the feeling when you saw this for the first time?

🚨 JUST NOW 🚨 Microsoft has new Project called Windows 11 K2: gutting AI bloat from Windows 11 to smash SteamOS gaming performance. No more Copilot RAM vampire. Snappier Explorer, lighter updates, games-first. Steam Deck crew staying loyal or jumping ship maybe? We’ll see how this will be improved for gaming performance on Windows 11 K2. If this is true everything then would ya’ll upgrade to Windows 11 K2 from Windows 10? Or stick with Windows 10 forever?
