game is fun but in a bad spot rn and these are the problems i see. - moving shots are way too easy. all everyone wants to do is fade because how easy it is. fades should be more difficult than a set shot -tempo shooting is broken…shouldn’t be a 2x green window and there’s way more room for error than shooting with button. you should have to green both timings -defense. blitz steals can be played perfectly and a foul will be called 95% of the time. lane steals are inconsistent. if someone is doing a escape move your player cannot make body contact on defense. pick dodger needs a buff -blur takeover meter dunks need to be fixed. @Beluba

@Beluba Can you please adjust tempo shooting. I understand the reasoning of it but it’s ridiculously over powered especially when it comes to fades. Difficult shots need to remain difficult shots and be skill based.

@BlaqKobra this is good advice. aim small, miss small.

I understand it now. The defense has multiple opportunities to effect your green window before you release the ball. Gather, Mid Air, Release. So you have to 100% fill the meter to leave no room for contest error. Don't try to get the meter in the green window if it's large, because that can/will change. Try to COMPLETELY fill the meter, so that if the window does change, it'll still be 100% full, resulting in a Green (I think).

@BlaqKobra In all honesty. I’m just ready for them to remove tempo shooting in general. It’s a broken mechanic that yes if the system was designed to help with terrible lag shooting great. But now people just taking advantage of the system. Don’t even have to be in the green window at all.

Wait so hold up.... -Complained about having a "Hitch" in rhythm shots, which was actually an advertised feature of the Tempo mechanic that allowed you to hang/delay your shot. -Feature was completely removed from Rhythm Shooting due to people not realizing they were delaying they're own shot by accident. -Currently complaining about timing Tempo, because it's too easy?

You can’t patch 7’4s in nba 2k26. Once you buff contests no one will be able to score on this game .

@PowerGotNow Starting 5 or Any 5 person team mode should definitely be more rep than park . Longer game time plus more areas that you can get higher stats in different categories. There’s no reason for them to be the same or close at all.

No matter what anyone thinks about rep in different modes, we should all agree there’s no way normal rep in Starting 5 should beat 2x rep in Park. That’s broken.

@Beluba @Da_Czar @Coastal_Bucketz If this is the case then you guys need to buff the contest system. No way I have a 92+ perimeter and still getting only 4% contests. Even when I jump at someone

@Beluba Please explain to everybody AGAIN Rhythm shooting last year had a much bigger green window, thats why you had to green the timing and the tempo. This year Button shooting and rythem have the same green window, So its only fair to have to green 1 thing.People dont get it

@2KIntel Contests only need to be buffed vs tempo shooting. Button shooting is contestable, it’s time for people to start putting perimeter defense on their builds.. On ball steals very slightly they dont need to be buffed crazy though..we need to stop encouraging unnecessary patches.

I would say the only thing that needs to be buffed in #NBA2K26 is Contest and on ball steals, Thoughts? 🤔

NBA 2K26 needs a defensive patch ASAP! please don’t wait an entire week/month to patch it. this is what ruins the momentum of the good starts @Beluba fix it please. Contest System needs buffed & defense needs a bit more of a stick to it, everything else is perfect!
