I've noticed the Euros are flexing about bread because it's the only thing they CAN flex. Do we have access to all the same breads here? Yes. Do they care about the truth? No. Does it matter? Not really. Because the US is infinitely better in every other way.

Perm was attacked today, about 1500-1800km from Ukraine. It is ridiculous to believe that these attacks on Russia are done solely by Ukraine. We are led by lunatics who will surely scream "unprovoked" when a powerful retaliation comes.

@BobGlec You literally have no idea what you’re talking about. Even small towns in America have perfectly serviceable artisan bakeries making crusty European-style breads, cookies, and pastries.

Is every single person have some sort of mental illness about American bread? Here is a “sourdough” loaf, baked and sold AT WALMART. It has ZERO grams of added sugar, less than may French baguettes in France…

@RealPostFolder American here, yes our "bread" is junk food The closest we have to actual bread is in the bakery section and even that stuff has added ingredients not found in real bread

@RealPostFolder I don't think that weird topic about subway was the catalyst for the current discourse. Just really dumb Europeans who don't have grocery stores with bakeries in them.

It's a combination of smugness and Reddit's natural tendency to parrot "facts" that they saw in another Reddit thread, which gets repeated like a game of telephone. The "American bread is legally classified as cake in Europe" comes from one of Subway's bread options having too much sugar in it to qualify as bread for tax purposes in Ireland. Through Reddit telephone, it got turned into "all American bread is actually cake"

@DevinOlsenn @Tesla The one feature that would have been awesome was an automatic rear view mirror saved to users settings. Seems like an oversite.

Close Windows on Lock is such a great feature, hard to believe Tesla is one of the only car companies that does this. @Tesla

@NononoJT @Tesla Not the same way Tesla does it today. I walk away from the car and do not have to press a button on a key fob or in an app, the doors lock and windows close all on their own. There are a few other companies that do this, but most do not.

Yeah I read up on that before posting this. There are other companies that have similar features - but the “press nothing” functionality that Tesla offers is the best implementation. There are a few other companies now (Volvo, etc) that offer similar features. But it’s still a majority that do not.

@alsoJMc @niccruzpatane We’ve had Lexus, Volvo, Mercedes, Acura. Yes, they have a tighter build ( the new y is leaps and bounds better than it was), but Tesla does something no one else can do. FSD. That is such a paradigm shift - I don’t see anyone else catching up. It’s that good.

@FR3D3R1C67 @Tesla Yup, lots of cars do that. Tesla is one of the few that requires no interaction with a key fob, you simply just walk away.

@EmilKulaga @Tesla Very impressive for a car from the 90s to have anything close to this! The feature that Tesla has without requiring a fob or button press makes it a lot more seamless - but I’m not taking anything away from what your car was capable of, that’s cool.

@wholemars Definitely. Maybe CarPlay will be able to adjust to different screens better in the future. I remember it used to be a small, fixed shape, no matter the screen size

Why were Europeans so whiney about the attached bottle caps?? Regardless of environmental reasons, it does not interfere with drinking at all and it’s actually super convenient to not need to hold on the cap! 10/10 Canada should adopt!
