@friendchristoph How does it impact parking for the last minority owned business district. Pretty sure its not just bus lanes. Bikes in and parking out is usually baked in.

Boston got $80m in federal funding for center running bus lanes on Blue Hill Ave 6 weeks ago but the mayor has the project on a silent pause that hasn’t allowed it to move forward

If a project this transformative and time saving for some of Boston's poorest residents with the longest commutes fails under a mayor who's made free buses a hallmark, it'll be a sad culmination of a policy already on shaky legs nationwide.

The resolution to reallocate funding from the Blue Hill Ave bus lanes to fare free buses just validates everyone’s worst fear about that policy: free buses are just the bone you throw when you don't care about improving bus service.

Feeding Our Future, the Minneapolis nonprofit run by Somalis who scammed federal taxpayers out of $250 million, had donated $11,000 to DSA Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh. (He has to return that stolen money now.) The Minneapolis branch of the DFL Party, the state local name for the Democrat Party, has revoked its mayoral endorsement of Fateh over "substantial failures" in the delegate voting process believed to be voter fraud, uncounted votes and irregularities. History of scandals: In 2022, a state Senate ethics committee complaint against Fateh was upheld. He did not report, as he is legally obligated to, the campaign ads that he paid for on Somali TV.

Breaking: Five Somalis have been convicted in a federal fraud trial in Minneapolis of stealing more than $40 million meant to feed hungry children. In a huge shock at trial, it was revealed a juror was offered a bag crammed with $120k in cash to acquit them. Those convicted are all connected to the Dar Al-Farooq mosque: Abdiaziz S. Farah, 35, Mohamed J. Ismail, 51, Abdimajid Mohamed Nur, 23, Mukhtar Mohamed Shariff, 33, and Hayat Mohamed Nur, 27.

Stop lying. There was a compromise. Business groups came together with the city and submitted a mutually agreed upon proposal. Then the likes of you and Nick Collins worked together to delay much needed relief for homeowners until the businesses groups reneged on the deal
Ed Flynn 愛德華費連@EdforBoston

The blame game continues on social media with city hall and political operatives. Instead of working together and compromising, City Hall political operatives refused to work with residents and the business community. Now is the time for positive leadership! #bospoli
