TWO MODES OF HEAVY SNOWFALL for Southeast U.S. snow storm: (1) Heavy snow associated with the upper low with the highest totals of a foot+ along the spine of the southern Appalachians near the TN/NC border with 5-9” along the Foothills and Carolina Piedmont. This snow will fall into the afternoon Saturday (2) a ribbon of heavy snow along the NC/southeast VA coastline tonight as the coastal low intensifies offshore. Which should I chase? Both?

On Nov 17, actor Melissa Gilbert made sure she got herself in the paper by attacking yours truly for allegedly downplaying the seriousness of Epstein’s abuse of teenagers (in fact I made clear that abuse at any age disgusts me). When she launched her attack, SHE KNEW that her husband, actor/director Timothy Busfield was actively under investigation for allegedly M0LESTING TWO CHILDREN WHEN THEY WERE 7 YEARS OLD. She knew bc (we learned today ⬇️) that she had been on the call when POLICE told her husband all about it on November 3d. THERE IS CURRENTLY A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST - charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse, allegedly taking place over a period of years. His wife knew this was in the works. But Melissa saw an opportunity to play the “avenger” of victims and she took it, dishonestly attacking and lecturing your reporter on abuse claims in a cynical effort to get some Chips in the Good Person bank, undoubtedly knowing that this story about her husband would soon break - replete with the details on how she allegedly bought presents for these boys and helped foster the relationship. Note to media: it’s always the ones who morally preen the hardest. Always. And the reason it’s them is that they have something to hide. So they need to convince you that they are righteous and others are not, something normal people feel no need to do. Her husband Timothy, at the moment, is reportedly still AT LARGE and WANTED by the police. Shame on Melissa Gilbert for her despicable ploy. TORNADO, GORILLA HAIL & DERECHO WIND BAG THREAT THIS AFTERNOON AND NIGHT Intense supercells are forecast to fire in the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles around 3-4 pm capable of 5-6 inch diameter hail and #tornado production! These supercells will cause major problems as they push into western Oklahoma this evening, before evolving into a fast-moving bow echo capable of producing 100-120 mph winds, stronger in embedded tornado vortices. This line could impact the OKC and DFW areas tonight! Full blown Dominator intercept mode today as we are meeting up with Andrew for our new anemometer. North Texas & Oklahoma, including #DFW: This event is expected this evening. Please have a way to receive warnings and get in touch with any family/friends in the area. Please remember to bring pets in as well! Isolated cells, including supercells, should develop in the early afternoon. These will eventually proliferate and could split and run into one another. Eventually, supercell cold pool mergers should congeal into one or more bowing convective segments or MCS’s. If ONE large MCS emerges, as the HRRR tries to spit out, then damaging winds of 80-100mph, is a good possibility. If multiple smaller MCS’s emerge, bowing segments could still contain dangerous winds. #txwx #okwx #dfwwx
