@KindaHagi I feel that they deliberately make it impossible to figure out where or why the fuck any photos actually are

if my photos are synced with my google photos (as in they are being saved in google photos) and i delete all the photos off my phone itself, will anything happen to my google photos or whatevers in icloud? i cant figure this out

@nikkoabenson All great points but for me this is less directed at those who want to digest, and more towards those who certainly have formed an opinion on whatever the thing of the week is but are just publicly pretending to be above it all

love when theater discourse happens. my favorite are the people who didn’t happen to throw out a take this time (or did, but it was vague/incomprehensible), a few days later hitting us “hhahaha you FOOLS! How embarrassing for you to have engaged in the discourse!”

@wesbraver I’ve had many productive and thoughtful conversations offline about all of this. But I think the way this platform literally works, structurally and in the way we relate to it, makes a healthy discourse in which people can express and find nuanced truth - actually impossible.

@wesbraver Or even framing the discussion as sharing personal experience w/ the event. Rather, 90% of discourse is generally people racing to “correct” conclusions - who’s wrong/right, who’s the hero/villain - and positioning themselves on one side of a fabricated divide.
