@dineshadhi_ Indeed the AI being able to listen to multiple audio tracks at the same time would be a great improvement. I guess we will have to wait for @_pion and @juberti to get us that feature soon.

You can now try OpenAI's new WebRTC real time feature inside a conference call. Thanks to our awesome team you can now try a push-to-talk feature to add OpenAI to your next conference call. Give it a try here demo.orange.cloudflare.dev

@hayku06 No particular framework (except fronted), the conference uses Cloudflare‘s Calls service. Sorry about the glitch. It’s fixed now, so please give it a try again.

@nilsohlmeier Great idea, what framework are you using for WebRTC?Also maybe something is not working yet, the agent joins the room, but nothing happens.

@vr000m @dan_jenkins We do have a WHIP and WHEP product. But this demo is using our Calls product, which is a WebRTC SFU, but not limited to WHIP/WHEP.

In honor of the 12 days of OpenAI, here's a realtime voice assistant in 12 lines of JavaScript! This code uses our new WebRTC support for the Realtime API - just pass in a local stream from getUserMedia(), an <audio> element for output, and an API token. platform.openai.com/docs/guides/re…

Best debugging tool for #WebRTC is still to compile your own Chromium version and check/add logs.

@tobi There are plenty of WebRTC based SDKs which enable calling integration into your website, like others pointed out here already. Google has only interested in integrating into their own products. Zoom has 0 interest in promoting the web, because they really dislike WebRTC.

Imagine how much innovation could be unlocked if there was a nice JS SDK that allowed a HTML Canvas element to join a zoom meeting or Google meet.

@vr000m Actually thinking about your scenario one more: we would only bill for two egress legs, if the SFU is a TURN client with it's own allocation - so the worst case TURN trapezoid. If the SFU just sends to Alice allocation there is no billing for that.

@vr000m Yes correct. Only egress bytes are billed for both of legs of the connection you described.

Congrats @nilsohlmeier on the TURN launch. Am I reading the blog correctly that only egress bytes to the webrtc client are counted and not ingress? > Otherwise, it costs $0.05/real-time GB outbound from Cloudflare to the TURN client. blog.cloudflare.com/webrtc-turn-us…

@maniksach When I came to the US I visited so many DMVs that colleagues made fun of me. But in the last 10 years I think I have been to the DMV and that was after moving to another state. I think the majority of established people go rarely that they don’t even see the need.

I’ve been standing in the DMV line for a while now. There’s about 50 people in line already and it opens at 9. There has to be a better way, but no one is incentivized to fix it so it will stay this way even. AGI won’t improve DMV either 😂😂
