The first session of #NIOA2025 is specifically for our 1st time attendees and new members. NIOA President Stewart Smith and some special guests will introduce you to our organization, the conference, and you will have some time to network with other newcomers and the leadership.

Sad news tonight…. A great friend, mentor, and PIO for the @PlanoPoliceDept for many years passed away. Many in the news media and North Texas will recognize David Tilley. We spent a lot of time together at conferences and with the @NorthTXPIO Group over the many years while I worked at @ArlingtonPD. We all learned a lot from David. May you rest in peace. Prayers for his wife Whitney and kids.

#NIOA2024 Day 3 was a packed day of sessions, from TikTok to social media best practices, to the infamous spy balloon incident. We also heard from the team that coordinated the deadly 2019 Lee County Tornado. The night concluded with a little karaoke.
