Respected Municipal Commissioner #BhushanGagrani Sir, We strongly raise the issue of the non-functional toilet facility at Yogi Hills Garden (DP reserved RG), Mulund West BMC Electoral Ward 103., which has been kept locked for over a year. Crores of rupees have been spent on beautification, but what about basic and essential amenities? The repeated response from the Garden Dept is “no water” — which is unacceptable. This area lies in the backdrop of Tulsi Lake, with ample groundwater availability. Why can’t BMC install a borewell with an auto-flush system to ensure water supply, hygiene, and regular maintenance? Due to this neglect, auto-rickshaw and bus drivers are forced to urinate in public, causing unbearable stench and serious hygiene concerns. More importantly, what about women—domestic workers, visitors, and senior citizens—who use the garden? We have women Ward Officer in this T ward, including a corporator who is also a doctor. Heavy vehicles like trucks, tankers and buses are worsening traffic congestion on Mumbai flyovers, especially during peak hours, slowing down vehicles and causing long delays.
