An elephant-sized pacifier for one of our tiniest babies! Much like human infants, baby elephants derive great comfort from suckling. The orphans love to mouth their Keepers’ fingers and when the Keepers have their hands full, a bottle teat serves as an excellent stand-in. Day 1: One wild-born baby. (18 more to come.) On the first day of Christmas, we celebrate one wild-born baby – entering the world into a family full of love and hope. Baby Sulwe is one of our grandcalves, born in 2024 to ex-orphan Sonje. Since her birth, we've met a further 18 wild-born babies, who were all born in 2025.
