@joshxhowie While you spent time "thinking and reflecting," did you take 15 minutes to do even the slightest research on the disease? Play that victim card elsewhere; you look like a fool. What was racist was the BBC editing out every other offensive word he said, but this one.

This’ll probably annoy some people but I’ve had a think and on reflection I do think what was shouted out at the Baftas was racist. You can argue it’s about intent, you can argue it’s ignorance, but the hate comes from somewhere and regardless of any mental disability, there’s no excuse to shout out ‘Free Palestine.’

@yungskuntebony Watch th film "I Swear", based on his life, then form an opinion. I guarantee you will feel regret for your outburst here and give you an inkling of what it is like for him on a daily basis (and for him it's involuntary). Please watch the film.

@freedom_007__ How many of these ‘outraged’ idiots actually watched the BAFTAs? They’re just jumping an internet bandwagon…

John Davidson's outburst was upsetting to many (esp. in the US), but he didn't mean it—he has Tourette's and can't control the tics. He once told a cancer patient "You're going to die," then said sorry. British people are far more aware and understanding of the condition.
