I opened a PNB bank account as part of my car loan disbursement. Since I had a loan of a good amount, they allowed me to apply for a PNB Imperial Debit Card with minimum MAB. For You, open a basic savings account with PNB. For the card issuance, you needed to transfer at least ₹1 lakh into the account. Once the Imperial card was issued, you transferred the money back while maintaining the required MAB. The good part is that you get three cards in total ( 1 Primary + 2 Add ons). You receive two add-on cards, so effectively you get three Imperial / Elite Executive cards with PNB. The benefits I am mentioning below are only for one card. Since the Rewards Debit card is restricted to Senior Citizens, Here is the account which you can open for your parents and senior citizens Online - hdfc.bank.in/savings-accoun… This account comes with a Rewards Debit card by default. Ps. There may be some offline process involved depending on the requirements and docs you submit.
