@nitinauthor Honestly, that makes the title even better The best chapter titles are usually the ones that carry meaning tied to an important moment or emotional payoff in the story.

Writing is also thinking, processing, dissecting, deleting, replacing, rewriting, reviewing... over just one word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph. The art and act are a lot. I laugh when I hear and read people say writing is easy. Experienced writers understand this.

@canopycritique I didn't think much about it right now, for now, I am just focusing on writing my novel, maybe later.

@nitinauthor That’s true, the story itself is the hardest part. Are you planning to bring in an editor or beta readers later on?

Writing is slower than I thought. In my head everything flows. On paper — different story. You have to be a lot patient and consistent for finishing your writing. Do you all experience this also? #AmWriting #WritingJourney #DebutNovel

That changes it. I’m not an agent, I’m a writer and freelancer who helps other authors get their manuscripts ready once the draft is done. So while you’re focused on finishing, just know when you hit the editing, formatting, proofreading, or cover stage, I can handle that part for you. That way you don’t have to switch from writer to designer/editor and lose momentum. If you want help with that later, I’m here. No pitch right now just focus on finishing the book.

That line hits hard “it needs to exist” is why most great books get written. If it’s not getting picked up, there’s usually a reason: query, hook, pacing, or market fit. I help authors figure out exactly what’s blocking it on Fiverr. What’s been the biggest hurdle for you so far, agents passing, no responses, or something else?

rainy sunday was the perfect excuse to binge read the rest of my book

@WritesCole That's actually the right choice, it sometime feel bored to read and even write because those scenes are repeated and have no goal, and yeah, I understand they are necessary for the story, but I think the decision to cut them is actually the right decision.

For a long time, I struggled to MOVE characters around in space. Crossing the room. Driving around town. Not teleporting, somehow. It bored me to write those sections. If it's boring to me, it's boring to the reader, so I cut them and let the reader's brain move the characters.

@WigglesItAtYou 700 pages in 5 days, more than 100 pages in a day, that's a lot, you must really have done a lot of hard work. Congratulations on completing your 700 pages. You deserve a rest.
