The two-hit hypothesis from Alfred G. Knudson’s classic retinoblastoma study helped establish cancer as a genetic disease. In our new preprint, we revisit this idea using thousands of tumor genomes to study how tumor suppressor genes acquire two hits during tumor evolution.

A few days back, we hosted Rishi Valley School @NCBS_Bangalore . I designed my first module for school kids on mutations. And it was so much fun! I have realized in these almost 2 months at the institute that researchers love to communicate. (1/n)

Sabrinathan Radhakrishnan's Lab at NCBS in collaboration with Aarhus University and Indian Institute of Science, has organized a Statisical Genomics workshop, with focus on basic statistics, cell transcriptomics and pathway and gene regulatory analysis.
