NM House Republican Campaign Committee
@nmhrcc
The New Mexico House Republican Campaign Committee is dedicated to taking back the House of Representatives in the New Mexico State Legislature.

Not only do a majority not the med schools Graduates leave the state for residency training, even those that train here are likely to leave. We have got to stop falling for the money grabs related to physician shortages. Want to go make meaningful changes? Change the malpractice laws, increase payments for Medicaid, and create an environment where high income earnings feel safe and comfortable raising a family here. Oh. And gross receipts tax on medical

You can say that again. Imagine if Democrats could read the room and support school choice. Randi Weingarten and the teachers unions would be screwed.

Even New York’s Democrat governor is opting into the federal school choice scholarship program. New Mexico ranks dead last in education. Our families are desperate for better options. If Kathy Hochul can put students ahead of politics, @GovMLG you should too.

New Mexico already has the highest percentage of its population on food stamps in the nation. We also have one of the highest SNAP payment error rates in the country. Now the federal government says it identified 186,000 dead people nationwide still receiving SNAP benefits, along with hundreds of thousands of duplicate payments. Taxpayers deserve accountability. If New Mexico leads the nation in SNAP dependency and payment errors, lawmakers should be asking hard questions about waste, fraud, and abuse in our own system. This is exactly why the Legislature needs a permanent Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Committee to investigate state programs and protect taxpayer dollars. #Politics #NewMexico #SNAP #foodstamps #waste #fraud #abuse #nmpol

🍎 These are common sense education reforms! Our kids deserve leaders who will take education seriously. Democrats have FAILED at doing what is best for New Mexico students - leading us to being one of the worst performing states in the country in education metrics.

32,000 young New Mexicans are not in school, not working and not in training, costing taxpayers $623 million a year to sustain. The growing number of disconnected is only getting worse. They’ve been told work hard, get an education, build a life, yet they do not see a path to personal success and growth. The average first time homebuyer is nearing 40. New Mexico ranks near the bottom in education and child well being, while carrying one of the highest tax burdens and one of the worst returns on taxpayer dollars. Bad public policy is shaping a culture of hopelessness at an enormous cost to taxpayers. When the system stops rewarding effort, people stop buying in. Young people see it. They are doing the math. One party control has not only limited balance and ideas, it has created a system that’s failing our young people. What needs to change to make New Mexico a place worth building a future? #NewMexico #Politics #Taxpayer #Public #Policy #nmpol

The Environment Department has seen a 226% general fund budget increase since FY19. That does not include federal funding. Yet it cannot maintain a basic public safety function like food inspections. That points to misallocation, not scarcity. This is what taxpayer return on investment looks like in New Mexico, higher spending year after year with core services like food safety inspections being cut. Do you feel like you are getting what you pay for? #NewMexico #Politics #GovernmentSpending #nmpol

A new report highlights left wing indoctrination from Southern Policy Law Center (& others) in NM schools. RGF fought HARD against these woke standards back in 2021/2022 when MLG proposed them. errorsofenchantment.com/new-report-hig… Thanks to @DefendingEd for details: @1housestrauss

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed an executive order establishing the New Mexico Energy Affordability and Grid Reliability Council to address rising electricity costs in the state. newmexicosun.com/stories/681530…

Super humbled to see Independents, Democrats, and Republicans from district 38 fill the courtroom today, supporting fair elections. Thank you to @NewMexicoGOP and our small but mighty and focused @NMHouseGOP for standing strong and united throughout this process. On to November, when the voters will decide.

High-impact tutoring works. The challenge is making sure students can actually access it. @dowfornm is encouraging @GovMLG to join the Education Freedom Tax Credit and expand access to tutoring and academic support for students across New Mexico. It’s an opportunity to bring more resources to families without increasing state spending. #Education #NewMexico #nmpol

Jeffrey Epstein committed heinous crimes in New Mexico. That didn’t happen without government failures and inaction. Reps. Dow and Lord are demanding that the Truth Commission investigate these systemic failures to ensure this never happens again. If anyone in a position of authority chose not to act, they must be held accountable. The public deserves the truth. @Lord4NM @dowfornm #NewMexico #Epstein #Legislature #nmpol

Yes! This!
