I have been briefed on the reported bomb threat at @Nicklaus4Kids . At this time, the @MiamiDade_SO is actively investigating the credibility of the threat and working to ensure the safety of patients, families, and staff. This is a situation we are closely monitoring. I am in contact with law enforcement and hospital leadership and will continue to follow developments as more information becomes available. The safety of our community, especially our children, is the top priority.

Dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel talks about “dialogue” while repressing his own people, harboring enemies of the United States, confiscating property, exploiting his doctors, and denying free elections. The problem is not the embargo. It is a regime that imprisons dissidents, destroys the economy, and condemns its people to misery. The United States must stand with the Cuban people, not with the regime that oppresses them. The freedom of the Cuban people is not negotiable.

My family, like millions of Cubans, had everything taken by a regime that has never respected property or freedom.
