We heard of a similar problem with the generation of APAAR numbers for children in Jharkhand: one mobile number, one APAAR number. Chaos galore.

I got a call from +91 99871 42368 . He said he is Rahul Kumar from @UIDAI office of Mumbai 1- He asked me have you used your @aadharcard_uid recently. I responded, ‘I normally don’t use it.’ I have many other ID cards. Why should I believe you?, I told him bit firmly. He disconnected phone. When I tried to save the fraudster’s number name cropped up PINTU! Aadhaar torture: Kandani Kumari’s name is correctly spelt in school records, but misspelt “Kumari Kantni Kiran” in Aadhaar database. She tried 4 times to get Aadhaar card corrected, in vain. Lakhs of children are facing such hassles cos' Aadhaar database is full of junk. @UIDAI

#Aadhar attack on the marginalised: दीपु का दाहिना हाथ बचपन में कट गया था। एक हाथ की उंगलियां नहीं होने से बायोमेट्रिक नहीं हो रहा है जिसकी वजह से दीपू का आधार नहीं बन पाया है और आधार कार्ड न होने से उन्हें राशन, पेंशन, आवास और मनरेगा में काम नहीं मिल रहा है।
