Team found #Aadhaar as a procedural barrier to deny Shri Jitu Munda his entitlement to a ration card, old-age pension, both of which he was eligible for, as he could not produce his (lost) Aadhaar card. These entitlements were granted within days of the incident becoming public

There was a failure to issue Kalra Munda’s death certificate for over 3 months after
her death on 26 Jan, despite her death being known to the ASHA worker,
Anganwadi worker and other local functionaries. The certificate was issued within two days of
the incident becoming public.

A 4-member fact-finding team visited Keonjhar, #Odisha and found that Kalra Munda, a landless widow and her brother Jitu, both elderly and ailing, were denied their savings of Rs. 19,600 for weeks of Kalra’s illness, and even after her death. Full report:

For 10+ yrs, MP has been a big participant in MSP sales. Some changes are afoot. Out of 19L registered farmers, 8L with 2+ hectares. Latter unable to book slots for sale on portal. Crops need to be verified via satellite imaging before harvesting. Faulty mapping lead to exclusion

Just to link with PAN, Mobile Number and 1000 other documents so government can earn Aadhar linking fees. And Adhar center franchisor can earn some money for taking franchisee. That is it ????
