you can extend @opencode with custom plugins that hook into events while the agent is working so i wired mine up to communicate in GPWS style (watch to the end)

@levelsio In Norway this does mostly translate to Venstre Party. Even tho Venstre literally means "Left", theyre mostly on the right side of the spectrum.

I think I'm alone in my thinking that Opus 4.6 is still the best model.

With my wife we decided to plan what we're going to eat for the next week so that we know what we want to eat and not default to ordering in and eating junk. we did the planning but it looked boring in google docs, I exported it as html put it in a folder and asked @opencode to make it into an authentic old persian style menu and use classy old Nasaliq font for extra soul, it turned out great:

"Restaurants are dead now that everyone has a microwave." Actually, it turns out that even though we can use technology to make a hot, cheap meal at home with little effort, we're still willing to pay for something nicer. (It does actually need to be appreciably nicer though.)

Running it gives you a infinite canvas, which is really easy to use: - Double click to make a task - Hover to see the + signs on edges to make a connected tasks (tasks that this task is a dependency of) - Natural trackpad gestures for zooming and panning around the canvas - Click and drag on a empty place on canvas to multiselect - Right click on a node to set a planned date, a budget or a status. - Alignment lines as a guide for good tasks alignment - Show/Hide completed tasks, or completed chain of tasks from the View -> Done - Hide some nodes for privacy reasons.

About a month ago, my wife and I noticed something a bit odd. We kept talking about the same task for weeks, but never actually doing it. At first it felt like we were just procrastinating. But when we looked closer, it turned out that task depended on something else… which depended on something else… and so on. some layers in, we got to the actual blocker: we needed to save money first. Which we’re still working on. So it wasn’t really procrastination — we just hadn’t done the earlier steps yet. After that, we started noticing how often this happens. Sometimes there’s a real dependency, and sometimes we’re just avoiding the root task that would unblock everything else. I ended up building a small app to map tasks like this as a chain of dependencies: github.com/razeghi71/domi… The more I work on it, the more I realize how useful it is for thinking about tasks this way. It’s already usable, but I keep running into big and small improvements in my daily workflow, so I’m continuing to build it and share progress here.

It's strange that you can get infinitely deep on any project.

Loved watching project hail marry, I didn't read the book, but the only part I didn't like/understand was the fact that life can fix the issue: the way they explained it I was like couldn't they just figure this out on earth? seemed kinda obvious.

@chribjel @justalexoki I moved to Norway 4 years ago and it didn't help :) everybody is so good at english so it doesn't "make" me speak Norwegian or when I try on the first inconvinience either the other person or I end up chickening out and switching back to English.

Is there an easy way to remove an mcp from opencode? I installed 'pencil' and it installed an mcp server and I can see it in `opencode mcp list` and I see there's a `opencode mcp add` command but no commands to remove it! Do I need to delete it manually from config file? @thdxr
