Most people appear idiotic when they first start the motion. Steph Curry was prob trash when he first picked up the rock. Genius is not a static state, but a phase you “enter” through consistent dedication. I recommend being highly attentive to the labels others place upon you.

If your product is just an AI wrapper, you're playing with fire. In the near future, AI providers will likely increase their prices, maybe even 10×. When that happens, you'll either go bankrupt or pass the cost on to your users and watch them churn. Period.

Spilling the sauce but two universal truths when it comes to founders & VCs..
1) if you see them make a lot of noise on X, they ARE definitely fundraising.. even though wink wink they are not.
2) every event thrown is a sourcing event (founders for VCs, talent for founders). that friendly poker night, sourcing. yes, that cute indie movie event, sourcing. anthropic researchers coming, 100% sourcing.
Like it is foretold by our forefathers, everything is sales!

You won't raise VC funding with just an idea.
Instead:
1. Build a complete founding team
2. Bootstrap to a MPV
3. Get grants + accelerator funding
4. Get solid user retention
5. Raise an angel round
6. Get strong revenue growth
7. Raise a VC round (or not)

Never outshine people who have the authority to punish your brilliance. Talent without political sense becomes a threat, and threats get managed. Let insecure people feel taller while you build quietly. The goal is not to look superior in the moment. The goal is to keep rising.
