Best IMO is going to a fitting with no predisposition on what you want & just trust what feels best in your hands and looks to your eye.
Once you have something, ex: counterbalanced, expand carefully outward from that.

Then I stumble across Landon DuPont. No agent listed, played with the same program for years and is projected first overall NHL pick in 2027. Parents keep him humble and kid just plays hockey. Was not at every showcase, was not pumped up by an agency or agent. Old school
