Intelligent people struggle with addiction. Their minds need more. They have obsessions nobody around them shares. Philosophy. Astronomy. Dostoevsky. Jazz. Quantum physics. Things they know deeply. Things they've gone so deep into that anything else feel like small talk. And small talk feels like suffocation. So... they drink. Work until 2 am. Doomscroll until they're numb. Because there is a gap. A gap between who you are and the conversations available to you. And it's one of the loneliest places a person can live.

It's posts like these that make me a rabid anti-democracy crusader.
Nobody is talking about Nigeria's west African foreign policy .
Nobody is talking about our energy interests or supply chains that guarantees we're an economic power.
Nobody is talking about high speed rail, becoming energy independent, building a solid military deterrence etc
It's stuff like this that consumes the thoughts of the average Nigerian democracy participator...
Who gets "slots" in critical areas that DIRECTLY affect our lives as a nation.
... As if it's an appointment of head boy or sanitation prefect
Look!
Look at how this parasitic model of misgovernance has reduced the quality of thoughts of our people.
We used to be pan Africans at the very least.
Helping our fellow Africans liberate themselves was at the forefront of our national discussion and consciousness.
And now?
To say I'm full of contempt would be an understatement.
This is why democracy must die in Nigeria.
Democracy must die.
Not democracy must go. I don't want it to "go"
I want it to he utterly destroyed and never come back.
Political parties = treason
NGO/Civil societies = gone. The vetted ones that don't peddle democracy can stay under draconian surveillance.

If Tinubu was in the opposition today, it will not be a debate, he'll work with Peter Obi. His own will be "I'll determine the VP slot". Then try also to take the Senate President slot. When Aliko Dangote moves to expand refining in Africa, it’s suddenly monopoly.
The World Bank even warned he could dominate the oil market across regions, then deleted the statement few days after backlash.
But for decades, Shell and Chevron controlled African oil, and nobody called it monopoly.
Africa exporting crude and importing fuel at a high cost was fine. Local refining is where the panic starts?
Dangote isn’t the threat, it’s all a fight for control.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote appeared on Channels TV and insisted that Nigeria needs to urgently invest in power infrastructure to achieve true economic independence. In layman terms, he's wailing about lack of electricity.
You can be sure of one thing: both the Nigerian government and local investors won't do anything about this call.
