Cause we get taught our history correctly here in the UK. 1938 the war started, for 3 years the UK with only a handful of European partners, kept pushing Germany back and US only joined, because Japan showed how weak you are, and you are still weak, just look at the tantrums from Trump not having anyone to back him up....

Can I point out, millions of Europeans had died long before Hitlers Germany declared war on America, and like all wars that America 'turn up' to, they've already been fought for years. WW I 1914, America joined 197, WW II 1938, America joined 1941 after Japan showed how weak you was and lets not forget the Falklands, you only gave support for that, because you were starting to look bad on the world stage. 200+ Conflicts since 1945 have been created by the US, and not one single conflict have they won!
