@Tess_Machling @LeMoustier I think it has to do with the fact that the Roos Carr and others like it (e.g. Strata Florida) have perforated holes which allows for interchangeable parts whereas this is absent for Ballachulish, &missing post puberty features which is why it has been interpreted as a young girl

#RomanSiteSaturday 1st c Roman theatre in the heart of Lisbon. Thought to be constructed during Augustus reign & renovated under Nero’s. It would have held ~5,000 spectators at the height of use. It fell into disuse around the 4th c, buried by an earthquake, & rediscov in 1960s
