The issue is whether people connected to presidential power are financially benefiting from policy decisions, market-moving announcements, or privileged timing around government action. Nobody seriously thinks Trump is day trading meme stocks between Situation Room briefings. The concern is influence, access, timing, and who profits around the machinery of power.
