@Blue_Footy Box to box Caicedo is a myth, you want your box midfielder to guarantee goals, assists and chances creation. Does he have that in his bag ? I doubt.

OK. Let me break it down. The biggest issues we have in this squad are height and legs. I have said it before: Caicedo should play more box-to-box to improve our OOP. Essugo, Lavia, and Santos are good but lack height and are not more physical than Onana, who is winning a higher percentage of ground and aerial duels than Caicedo this season. And we know Caicedo is among the best. Plus, Onana can play box to box, has legs for coverage, very quick off first yards and mid yards, and can carry too. Can disrupt plays with interceptions. I think people see him with his Everton lens. His game in possession has taken a massive jump. He's currently losing 6 possession per game. For a midfielder, that's solid. It's okay to have a certain opinion about a player, but it's important to understand when there is an upward shift in performance. The guy has massively improved. I'm not sure we have space for another midfielder, but if anyone leaves, I would take his profile over Guimaraes, Sandros, and Balebas. An Onana-Caicedo pivot would be insane. Trust me.

@Blue_Footy Specifically, your point to being Onana to Chelsea is cox of height we don't have in the MF. How many times has opponent play a long ball from the back to our goal? We only lose duel during corner and throwing we can literally solve that with good CB. Misplaced priorities

I've done a deeper dive on the Roman Abramovich era as a whole at the club and I really found it interesting to break down common conceptions in the fanbase – especially in how it's remembered as a whole. I keep seeing these statements on social media: ● when Roman was at the club, Chelsea signed all the best players in the world and players who would go in and improve the team ● Chelsea won things every year under Roman and was always fighting for the biggest honours ● Chelsea had a winning culture under Roman And an interesting side point relative to the current ownership: ● The new ownership is just doing favours for people/players they know when signing them So let's break them down. 1.) "When Roman was at the club, Chelsea signed all the best players in the world and players that would go in and improve the team". Is this true? Yes, mostly but what's important to establish isn't whether it's true or not but why it was possible. When Roman bought the club he revolutionized football. He became the first really ambitious and filthy rich person to privately own a football club. He broke the game. At this time there were no financial restrictions. Football hadn't yet faced this obstacle and as a consequence wasn't prepared for it. In other words, he could spend as much money as he wanted on transfer fees and wages and there were no one who could stop him. This alerted other rich men to the possibility of owning and investing in football clubs – a quickly growing market at the time. However, in 2009 – UEFA announced the implementation of Financial Fair Play(FFP) which would put a limit on the kind of spending we had seen from the likes of Roman in the past few years. The combination of the new rules, other rich owners and the massive economic growth in football (the Premier League particularly) meant that the advantage Chelsea and Roman had previously enjoyed was no longer viable. No longer could players be signed without risk. No longer could he spend as much as he wanted. No longer could he outspend the club's rivals. At this point, recruitment and team building in football became more about smartness rather than money alone. Chelsea still did sign "world class" players, but at a slower pace. However, overall recruitment became significantly less effective relative to other smarter clubs – as they developed data models and other ways to modernize recruitment. I'm sorry to put it this bluntly, but Rosenior is not a serious manager. You can see it from miles off. The set-up was good, but the way he's managing our squad is arguably the worst I've seen from any Chelsea manager in recent memory.

@heyphilsummers It really is weird that studios do that. Make a movie about a particular thing and then only let the characters be that thing for 0.4% of the run time.

Maybe it's because they were only fully suited Power Rangers for 45 seconds. I'm not even joking.

@HollywoodHandle @movieweb It had great potential but the graphics, story and the very little action ruined the movie if you are going to go classic then don't mess it up tweak it a little but not a lot or it all falls apart the movie just missed the point of the power rangers and didn't pack a punch.
