The most revealing part of the controversy over the Pope’s post on war is that when Protestant pastors say things that are quite obviously unbiblical and politically motivated, we call them out for it because we realize they’re just men and subject to accountability. Catholics seem to believe the Pope is above criticism and error. That itself is a huge error.

When I was 13, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend with big tits... Yes they're related and they enrich each other. But to your point, if you have a hard time focusing, wouldn't it make more sense to participate in the Mass and follow along with a missal? I don't understand how one even has the time to pray the rosary during Mass. With all the responses, not to mention every time the preist says "let us pray" it's for very specific reasons and it's done together with everyone else. I can't imagine anyone getting through an entire rosary, do they pause during the Gloria, or the Creed or other prayers or do they just not participate and focus solely on the rosary?

In my humble opinion, many Catholics truly do not understand the power the Mass holds. If they do, they won't be debating whether they are supposed to pray their rosary during the Mass or not. There is a time and place for everything, and the Mass is not the place and time to pray any other prayer like the Rosary. The Mass is a sacrifice offered on the altar. The highest sacrifice EVER. You do not pray your Rosary during the Mass. Jesus is literally speaking to you through the priest at Mass. Heaven literally touches Earth at Mass. Do we Catholics understand what that means?? The Mass is higher than ever other prayers you can think of. And if you truly in your heart understand this, you will not pray the Rosary during the Mass.

Historically, Catholic Americans overwhelmingly voted Democrat but that is no longer the case. In the 21st century, since 2000, the Catholic vote is split 50/50, with as much as a 5 point swing either way depending on the election. That is, until 2024, when we saw a 14-point swing in favor of Trump and the Republicans, signaling a major shift. This is why I am highly suspicious of any “news” or political rhetoric that appears to divide Catholics and Evangelicals from voting together as a bloc in the Republican Party. It smacks of a media psy-op designed to split the Republican vote along religious lines and retake Congress for the Democrats in 2026.
