2 years ago, Joost Klein with Europapa was disqualified from Eurovision. It was the EuroPatriot song, banned by incompetent leaders which are ruining Eurovision. The whole organisation needs a reset. Eurovision needs to become a European event again, promoting our unity!

@BitterBGavin @CrabNamedHeller It should be the same for other 3rd party launchers. Just add them to steam and steam handles the controller layer. I've heard people saying it works seamlessly for XIVLauncher and Dalamud

@normalmity @CrabNamedHeller yeah the only thing is that I use the quicklauncher for noclippy because I live all the way down in south america so that complicated things further on my end lol

Being able to do this with FFXIV is a gamechanger

@vinnycthatwhoib @DVADigital323 touch pads are huge for all the games with partial controller support that still need you to reach for kbm occasionally. That plus all the full mapping of all the extra buttons means you have a ton of room for all the keybinds you need for a game without full controller support.

@dharh @king_of_games34 You have to be either on steam or the SE store, not a mix, but that's it for limitations. buying on steam is no better or worse.

The issues with buying FFXIV on steam were solved literally 4 years ago

@NightBloomCross @CrabNamedHeller It's all the extra inputs with touchpads. It's like having an MMO mouse for all the extra bindings in easy reach, just for controller.

@WakoBakoPKMN @CrabNamedHeller The touch pads give you a TON of unique "buttons" that you can map with gestures and things on it. That's the main thing they're hyped about. It just gives you easier access to more things

@CrabNamedHeller I wish there was some kind of plug-in that automatically gave you a recommended controller mapping. I'd love to give controller mode a shot but I am simply too lazy to figure the set-up out lol

@DemonKingSwarn @CrabNamedHeller I had to buy from a scalper in Australia. In theory I hate scalpers, but at a certain point after thinking about it I decided I was okay with someone like that if they were providing the service of shipping to country that Valve flat out denies. Still torn on it though.

@BitterBGavin @CrabNamedHeller I mean it's annoying to have to launch steam to play FFXIV, but the actual adding it part takes 2 seconds. Literally just games -> add a non-steam game -> type "FFXIV" in the search bar and click it.

@CrabNamedHeller Are you using the Steam version of FFXIV for this? I'm stuck to the standalone client and adding the standalone client as a non-steam game is such a hassle...

@CrabNamedHeller @WolfLegend01 Yup, I've heard from other people that even the 3rd party launchers all work great as long as you launch them through steam

@WolfLegend01 Generally I don't think the steam controller works outside of games launched through steam. BUT through my own testing non steam games that are added to steam do work so you could try adding the FFXIV launcher and see if that works

@CelestialCelaia steam controller + evolved combat is gonna be fire imo. At that point I don't think I need the extra buttons from a keyboard anymore.

im not a controller player but man the steam controller seems really really good for ffxiv with the programable features and extra buttons. they really kinda cooked with this one.
